Oceanless was recorded entirely in Utah before our move to Connecticut, and most of the songs were finished before the songs on Circuit. However, because of various delays, it wasn’t released until after Circuit. "Rial Veed Fiir" was written by taking a song Dave Lifrieri had recorded and mailed to Aaron, which was used as a template for layering more tracks of guitar, bass and drums. "Are You Gone to Vast Arc Hues?" is an excerpt of a show we played at a Mexican restaurant in Provo, Utah. The show was a local punk fest with 10 or so bands. We played first, and as you can imagine, we didn’t really come near to fitting in with the rest of the bands. The picture on the inside is of our good friend, Pete Baumann.
